A typical session

2 hours, with room to breathe.

Each MathOs session runs for two hours from 3–5 PM Central, with a short break in the middle so campers can rest, snack, and reset before the second half.

  1. First ~55 min

    First half

Concept, examples, and a hands-on activity. We open with the real-world question of the day, work through the math together, and start applying it.

  2. ~10 min

    Short break

Snack, water, stretch. Cameras off, mics off — campers can step away from the screen and reset before the second half.

  3. Final ~55 min

    Second half

Project work, group challenges, and Q&A in breakout rooms. Instructors hop room to room to help one-on-one and pull together what we built.

Set up

What you need.

  • A laptop, desktop, tablet, or phone with Zoom
  • A reliable internet connection
  • A pencil and a notebook (or scratch paper) on the side
  • A calculator if you have one — not required, instructors will help when needed

Don't have something? Reach out — we'll figure it out so no camper is left out.

Joining a session

How sessions work.

Before each session we email the Zoom link to every registered family. Cameras are encouraged but not required, mics can stay muted until it's time to share. Parents are welcome to sit in alongside their child if they'd like — Camp Directors are happy to answer parent questions before or after class.

Save your spot — it's free.
